Alpine range: technical footwear for climbing and mountaineering
The Alpine range has been developed to provide the most demanding mountaineers with technical footwear, enabling them to achieve the best possible performance. The models in the Alpine range are cramponable, indispensable for winter and summer mountaineering.
- Asolo 6B+ GV shoes are rigid, robust and stable, with a Gore-tex membrane for waterproofing and breathability. The 6B+ GV model provides an effective balance between support, cushioning and torsional stability, thanks to the different materials and densities used in the sole block assembly.
- Asolo Elbrus GV shoes not only boast the same features as the 6B+ GV model: they’re stiff, stable and lined with a Gore-tex membrane, but they also feature the Asolo/Vibram® sole with Dual Integrated System technology to absorb shock on all types of terrain, even the most committed.
Hiking range: high-performance footwear for hiking on rugged terrain
The Hiking range is dedicated to enthusiasts of mountain, forest and rugged terrain walking. This range is ideal for accompanying you on your favorite trails, whether for day hikes or bivouacs.
- Gore-Tex-stamped, Asolo Finder GV shoes for men and Asolo Finder GV shoes for women are totally waterproof and provide excellent breathability. This shoe features an Asolo/Vibram® “Duo Radiant” outsole with Megagrip for excellent grip on all types of terrain. The mix of PU and single-density EVA and the form-fit construction ensure stability and cushioning.
- Asolo Drifter GV shoes for men and Asolo Drifter GV shoes for women are also equipped with a Gore-tex membrane, making them both waterproof and breathable. The Drifter shoe features a reinforced Cordura outer fabric for enhanced resistance to harsh weather conditions.
The mix of PU and double-density EVA, combined with the lasted construction, ensure stability and cushioning on a multitude of surfaces. The Vibram Megagrip outsole guarantees the best possible grip, even on very wet and greasy terrain.
Italian brand Asolo, founded in 1975, is a pioneer in technical mountaineering footwear. Asolo invented the first Cordura boots in 1975 and the first Gore-tex model for professional mountaineers in 1980.
Over the years, Asolo has continued to innovate, developing new technologies such as Asoframe, Asoflex and Globaline, inspired by biomechanics to generate the most natural symbiosis between last and foot.
1, 2, 3… 4 awards and more for Asolo!
Asolo has received numerous awards for its technical innovations, including the Golden Compass Award in 1980, the “Best Shoe of the Year” award in the Backpacking category in the USA in 2005, the Best in Gear Product award for the Eiger model in 2014, and the “Kauf Tipp” award from the German Outdoor Magazine for its Drifter GV model, a symbol of innovation and performance in 2017.
