BV SPORT – HISTORY AND INNOVATION

The BV Sport story began in 1989, when Michaël Prüfer, Olympic speed skiing champion in 1992, decided to innovate to improve athletes’ performance. Aware of the importance of recovery, he created compression socks tailored to athletes’ needs, in collaboration with doctors. Thus, the brand, born under the name BV Sport (Booster Veines Sport), experienced a major turning point in 1998. That year, players from the French national team used these products at the Olympic Games.

Innovation continued in 2002 with the launch of the Booster compression sleeve. Thanks to this invention, athletes can enjoy the benefits of compression while wearing socks. Today, BV Sport is a partner of the French Athletics Federation. What’s more, the brand continues to make its mark on sporting history, most notably during Les Bleus’ victory in 2018, when its products played a key role.
