Garmin x Lepape

GARMIN and LEPAPE join forces to accompany you during your next Marathon.

Three athletes have been selected to participate in the next Marathon, on April 02 in Paris. We will accompany them to guide them towards their respective goals: 1st marathon, under 3 hours and 2h45 threshold.

Our coach Jean-Claude Vollmer will help them in this quest with a special follow-up. Each of them will be equipped with a Garmin Forerunner 255 watch to follow the evolution of their preparation (physical condition, training load, body battery, sleep analysis, etc.). A Lepape outfit specially designed for the occasion will be given to them to follow them during the race.

Vincent Lapeyre

Goal: Less than 2h45

Motivations: This will be my 3rd marathon, 2h53 in the first one in 2021 then 2h46 in the second one in 2022. I would like to progress even further on this distance, going under the 2h45 mark.

Previous result: La Rochelle Marathon (2022) in 2h46’58

Capucine Begin

Goal: 1st Marathon

Motivations : For the surpassing of oneself, the sharing that this sport can bring and also the values that running instills.
I’ve been wanting to try the marathon adventure for a few years now, but since I play handball at a national level, I’ve never dared to try. I accompanied a friend on her marathon preparation this summer and I now feel ready to take the plunge.

Steven Calvez

Goal: Less than 3 hours

Motivations: I run to feel alive, free, and to seek to surpass myself. I also enjoy sharing with others who feel the same pleasure as I do when I walk on the road. After my current PR I wondered if I could hope to do better. Today, despite the fact that I’m approaching 40, I know that I have the legs and the head to hope to do 2h45. But I also know that even with the high volume of training I already have, I would need support. I know that Garmin and Lepape can give me that extra boost and motivation. Nothing is impossible when you try to give your best every day!
